Do you have the right switch for your bike? Does it have a single plug into the switch?

Yes it's the right plug it has two wires coming off it and the wires they plug into are color coded and will only plug into them one way It's driving me crazy when you leave key off it works turn it on and it won't

Does the wiring look like it has been tampered with? It may have been bypassed when the key was lost. Have you traced down the wires? where do they go?

Do you have the switch in upside down?
