HRS sucks! Had nothing but problems with them.First the payments were suposed to be something like 25.00 for the first year but ended up like 150.00 a month. then they didn`t keep up with the payments I sent them so I payed them off with a second mortgage along with other things,I found out they popped my credit file with bogus late charges!Stay away from these ***####$###*!

 

I have the same problem with the late fees and the posted date being a day or two late even though i send it two weeks in advance.

 

Just do what I did. I finance with Yamaha and when the first payment came due, I sent them the payoff.

 

HRS is the mix of Household Finance(GM Card for one) and Beneficial Bank(Best buy card, etc).

I never had any problems with them, and use my GM card as my preferred payment with most purchases. I have bought two new gm cars, and the rebate system works great.

I have had my credit card number stolen several times, with GM/HFC the first and Citibank/Traverlers/Quicken the last two times. GM/HFC took care of everything(in one week), and was pro-active.

Citibank/Quicken/Travelers was a disapointment, and didn't care about charges from Russia. Took 5 months and a couple letters to straighten it out.

I have never had any problems with my Best Buy card(HRS), but will think twice about using it after hearing the trouble others have had.
