This looks like a good time for Yamaha to introduce a bigger engine. I guess if someone has a few kids, this is one way to haul everyone in one machine. Its almost getting big enough now that something like a jeep cj or a compact truck isn't much bigger and costs a whole lot less. And you can drive it to the trail instead of having to buy a car hauler to tow it there.

Can,t fit it in the truck and it has 900lbs in passengers alone , let alone what that thing weighs itself.
Turning radius of a RV.
Cost more then a good used Jeep.
Not much fun for the poor guys in the middle when its time to bail out.
The middle back seat person will have nothing to look at scenery wise .
Odd Machine for sure.

True. But from a company standpoint, you could use a truck to trailer it and some other equipment in, give them cheap (you know they would) helmets and under the price of a six person suv or pick up.
Ok, I'm just trying to rationalize a way this is a good vehicle.
I'm not even convincing myself.

I think Yamaha should try to make a smaller 50" wide Viking with the 550 Grizzly engine in it, very similar to the new 500 Pioneer from Honda and could compete head to head with the 570 Rzr from Polaris. Just put 2 seats in it, you're not going to be able to fit 3 people in a 50" wide machine. I can see this huge 6 person machine being used at say a huge railroad yard or something like that where you need to move several people around at once but its so huge and expensive that it would be a lot cheaper to buy a used 4x4 truck or suv to do the same thing that also has a full cab and heat and a/c and you can lock it up for security. I'm sure you can buy a full cab and heater for the Viking, but that only ads to the cost.
