Lift Rings?
#1
I got some lift kit rings that go above the shock springs, supposed to be a 2" lift for my Moto 4 350. This not a body lift, just a suspension lift to make driving in water/mud easier.
They look like this.
Anyone have experience with this kind of thing? Do they make the ride stiffer or harder on the suspension parts? I'm guessing yes.
Also the rings themselves definitely don't look like 2" high, more like an inch.
Should I even bother?

Not really for lifting but more for people who need stiffer spring without buying HD springs.
Is your shocks clicked to the stiffest settings?
I just sold my 350 Grizzly because of the rough SRA suspension ,I sure would not want them even more stiffer.

The shocks overall are pretty stiff already, especially the back. I have virtually no side-to-side motion when I rock it left and right. I have a SRA in the back. Don't know how to adjust it.

Your back spring should have a collar with 5 notches. That set the spring stiffness.
Like this.

No way to get more Ground Clearance out off a SRA then to get larger tires.

I'm running 26x12x12 Interco Swamplites. I was hoping with the lift that I could get maybe 28's or higher. I have the shifter on the front that goes from Hi, Lo, Rev. Low gear puts a LOT of torque out back. It'll spin just about anything. It's a 2WD. Check my profile.

And if do put the little collars on the springs can I offset the stiffness by changing that notch? I want softer suspension. Which one is softest?
