100 MPH Banchee, thats not a hard thing to do.
But speed cost money, before and after the fact.

If you want that kind of topend for a short period, use nitro. The maintanance is going to be a killer, but it will be close to where you want to go.

It sounds like you are paying for your quad on your own, good for you!

Your on the right track, just ask alot of questions, and keep your BS filter on, your going to hear alot of it.

First off you would need a 75 mile straight away and second, does dad know your farting around with his user name?

I did hit 86 MPH but ran out of street. I run a 15 tooth counter shaft. I bet its possible, due to the fact that banshee's KICK %#&

My dad had a 87 qaudzilla.I am pretty sure it would do about 90mph.

It was bored .080 over, wiseco piston,FMF pipe and silencer,ported,40 mm khein pwk,fmf ram valve,it had 20 inch rear tires.

First off all the thing was freakin crazy!Second I got to 5th gear and about craped my pants! The banshee is alot taller and narrower than a zilla.I don't think that U can judge a riders skill level by their age but I know that any sane person would let off a qaud at 100 mph!Plus dude if U crashed at that speed U WOULD be dead.

My 250r is freakin fast and it feels like a turtle to that thing!

banshee4life, short times of pure top end speed are fine and dandy but 100 mph for over half an hour? i tell ya what. go hit a speed bump at 10 mph, then do it at 100 mph. it will change your mind in a hurry! also, i think it's time you went back to you 5 h.p. go kart, 100 mph is insane.

100 mph... it is defainatly possible, i've seen a couple banshees in michigan run about that in the quarter... granted these were full race bikes making about 95 hp. I would say alcohol is a must for the power, and second it burns alot cooler than gas. Probably want an oversize radiator too. The biggest issue will be gearing, the guys running the quarter said that was the biggest problem, they were running a 17 countershaft... i don't think you can fit a bigger one on!! There was a guy on a snowmobile site that did a race in alaska that is 150 miles, down a closed highway. the winning average speed was something like 119 mph. with qualifying speeds aprroaching 130 mph. It can be done, but man stuff happens fast at those speeds...

I bet if he saw what happens to someone after falling off of something at 100 MPH he'd quickly change his mind. Unless it's his perogative to get the entire front of his body re-arranged in a grotest manner. If I were him, I'd re-think going 100 mph. Plus you would never see your quad again if you were to get caught by a cop going over 100 mph on a quad.
