ya thanks for the reply.....idle jet was plugged....cleaned the carb thoroughly again and turned down the idle screw....the thing fires up and runs like brand new....pain in the *** to work on this quad, but I love it.....
have to figure out why the float needle wont seal ...the carb is flooding out when i leave it for a while....

ya ...was thinking about that as well but weather is setting in up here in ontario and i dont have a heated shop so i slapped it back together on the last warm day (-5) we had here....in hopes of getting to it in the spring....i put a fuel shut off just before the carb...should do the trick for now.....
