07 Raptor 700R SE oil overflow problem
Can someone help me?
The oil resovoir on my raptor is overflowing. This is caused by the filter in the bottom being clocked. Is it ok to drain the oil and with taking anything out simply dumb gasoline in the tank to rinse it out and of course let it all drain out before putting fresh oil in? Would this fix the problem?
It's a pain to take out the oil tank.

Hey Bernhard,
So I have a 2007 Trx 400ex. On these bikes, it is very easy to remove the oil tank so it is very easy to clean it.
You should certainly drain out all of the oil. I guess rinsing it out could work temporally but could leave some as in the tank at the same time (which would be bad). I know you don't want to but the best way to go is to remove the tank and clean the entire thing and get a new filter.
