Why would anyone want to do that? 4 x 4 250s are rare, only Yamaha and Suzuki made them, and Suzuki's version had those horrible stretchy cables. Loads of alternative 2wd 250s to chose from.
Anyway, if you must, it may be wise to remove the front prop shaft and engine end UJ spider, no point in driving a front diff if you don't need to. Also check part numbers of the front A arms on both 2WD and 4WD versions to find out if they are the same. Honda used all sorts of different parts on 2WD and 4WD 300s, even the steering column was different.
