doesn’t Seem to have the power it once had when I first got it in August this year. when I first give it gas it kind of Boggs and then it goes 70-80 km but it backfires when I slow down and as well seems to get bogged down going up hills Unless I put it in Low gear to get up the hill and then it has no problems going up. And other than putting a new belt on and doing the regular maintenance stuff I haven’t had any issues than the stuff I’ve mentioned up above

The colour of the old plug is an indicator here, black and sooty means running rich or electrical fault, white means running weak. If it is weak, Yams are prone to inlet manifold leaks so check that, but a sooty plug would indicate sticking choke or blocked air filter, or electrical problems leading to misfires.

Thanks for all the help
I figured it out and It had to do with my belt I had to change my belt because it ripped to shreds s month ago and I didn’t put it on right and didn’t check the clutch sheaves and I had to grease all the weights that are inside that and it works great now
