Have any of you TN rideres heard of a dealership called The Great Outdoor, located in Jackson, Dyersburg and Paris, TN. They offered me a very good deal on a new R1. I'm just trying to get some info on how good of a company they are before I would make the 10 hour drive down there.
Thanks

I have heard of their dealership. I was thinkin about seein what they were wanting for a raptor. It is 4 hours away from where i live but there isn't out of state tax andd they are cheaper is what i hear. If i could find out if it was worth my while to drive down there i would consider going there.

They list the Raptors there for $5999 probably out the door. The R1's I was looking at are $9,299 (regular)and $9,995 (champion) out the door. I found out yesturday theres one catch to it. The price is out the door, but you can't ride it out the door. You have to bring it back to your state and get plates for it, and when you do this your going to get hit with the taxes and the other costs to get it on the street. With the 4-wheeler it would be a great price, unless you have to purchace a recreational sticker. Then you will probably get hit with the taxes again.

5999 hmmm.... i don't know if its worth the trip to save the $$ I'm sure it would but i wouldnt' be able to have them work on it if i had any problems. i will have to buy a helmet and many other extras as well. I am gonna look around close to home to see if i can find anything that sounds like a good offer. thanks for the info though

I have bought two ATV's from the Great Outdoors Store in Dyersburg, TN. Both times they beat everyone's prices and both times it was a good experience. Also, tell the salesman you are driving a long way and get him to throw in some free stuff or discount you some ramps or something. They will usually do this. I drove about an hour rather than buying at my local dealer because of the deal they gave me.

I live in Jackson,Tn. I was just in the store last friday. They had 3 or 4 new Raptors. They have a real nice fancy new store next to a Lowes. I tried to buy a machine at the old store about 3 years ago. Could not get anybody to talk to me. So I bought from somewhere else. That dealer went out of bussiness. As far as I know they are on the up and up. The parts guy that I talked to friday said they sell more Raptors than any other Dealer. He also told me that sales were a little slow. So work on them about price,
