Default Need help identifying.

Hello
i need help identifying a 2002 Yamaha. Not sure if it is a bear tracker or big bear. It is a 250 the frame is square and I went to a website and put vin# in and it gave me 2002 Yamaha bear tracker. I took it to a mechanic to get it running and when he entered vin# in it gave him the model big bear. It is a 2wheel drive I can post a pic of vin # later.
Thanks

Pretty sure it is a Bear Tracker. Never come across a 250 Big Bear, and Flemington don't list a 250 Big Bear circa 2002 either. However Yamaha are weird regarding model names, they had a period of nearly everything being a Moto 4, and another of re-naming almost all models Grizzly, from the 125 to the 700.

Yep...a Bear Tracker...had one just like it for my wife. Great machine, no issues. Our machine was was warm blooded, need choke or partial choke until fully warmed up. Keep the oil and filter changed on a regular basis for best life!
