Default Shorty question

I mentioned in my last thread the YFM was for my son who has smaller hands... Do shorty clutch and break levers that are adjustable move the levers a little closer to the grip or not? I can't tell if the adjustment adjusts the tension on the cable or if it actually adjusts the handle closer. Can someone clarify for me please?

Thanks

Hey brother,
I have the ASV shorty levers on my Raptor and I created an account to help you out. The levers allow you to adjust the throw of the lever separately from the clutch tension adjustment.
The issue you may have if you adjust the clutch lever closer is that it won’t fully disengage.

Here’s the pics of my clutch lever. Brake is the same. The red **** on the lever is what adjusts the throw. Where I have it is pretty close to the closest it can be for a Raptor 700 to still disengage the clutch. I do have an aftermarket clutch though.
