how do you tell when a clutch is on its way out?? Is it normal for the clutch to engage when the lever is almost all the way out?? Also does the "feel" get harder or easier as a clutch wears?? The quad in question has an e-z pull lever, yet the pull still feels harder than I think it should be. Also, when the quad is just started, and you pull the lever in, there appears to be a slight metalic noise on the right side of the motor. The clucth doesn't appear to slip when riding, I was just trying to see if was shot or not. Thanks for any help on clutches!!

grab your manual and adjust it until you like the feel and still have proper function.

beware these ez pull levers, all they are is a milled hole in a diferent spot for more leverage, I had a RTC billet lever and perch, I sold it because I couldn't get my clutch adjusted right, I put it on my NEW raptor and same thing damn thing was junk. try a different lever before changing the clutch, and you should have just a bit of play in the clutch cable, say about 1/16"
