Default 01 warrior 350 won’t turn over but has power

I have an 01 warrior 350 that won’t turn over. I left the key on and the battery died so I charged it and now it won’t turn over when I click the button
the lights and all work but when I press the button nothing happens. Not even a clicking noise.
What could be wrong. It was working fine before

Check the kill switch, so easy when working on a bike to knock it and not realise you have done so. Next, check battery terminals, including earths, are clean and good. Take note if the lights go out when you press start button, if they do, either those terminals are still not right, the main wire from fuse to ignition switch is bad, or the battery has had it. Yams are not easy to fault diagnose on starter circuits, as they usually have that four pin plug and fuse on the solenoid, and the wildly over complex lock-out system. It could just be a faulty solenoid, but can also be the lock-out circuit or start button. All you can do is start at one end of the circuit and work back until you find the fault.
