My Kodiak 450 is new, less than 50 miles on it and I noticed the muffler is loose and rolls back and forth under the single muffler mount. Anyone else have this issue? The design of the exhaust system between the header flange and the exhaust pipe to the muffler leaves a lot to be desired, just springs holding the two in place. I like my Yamaha but I dont think Honda would ever design something like this and I have had both over the years.

A lot of vehicles use the two spring and ball/socket flange system, it usually works fine as it allows engine movement against the "fixed" silencer without putting a lot of strain on the front exhaust pipe. Suzuki 450 to 750 King Quads have a silencer sliding into front pipe, with clamp, like Hondas, and they regularly blow the tubular gasket between them, as there is no "give" for engine movement.
