07 Grizzly 700, low top speed and ticking
Been like this since the day my buddy bought it. It has good take-off speed but only reaches about 30-35mph, I’m guessing the clutch sheaves may need serviced, but I’m open to other suggestions.
As for the ticking, I’m trying to hope for the best on it lol. We’ve adjusted the valves, but i do plan on rechecking them. Haven’t really been able to locate the sound source, tried using a broom handle and a stethoscope, but haven’t found a spot that’s louder than the next. It does it from start-up, increases with rpm speed, but sometimes it goes away on deceleration. Otherwise it dosnt affect anything other than your nerves.
