Kodiak 450 rims?
#1
I have a bit of a minor emergency of sorts. Just bought a great 2004 Kodiak 450 and picked up some SUNF A033 tires. Just took it to a local TireWarehouse shop to mount up for me, and the hack bent the hell out of the rear and front rim.
Was hoping to ride it this weekend but unfortunately now SOL… I now need to order a new front and rear rim set that fits my new 25x8-12 and 25x10-12 SUNFs. What rim size should I order to fit these tires? Same rim front and rear, or different?
Kicking myself that I didn’t just order a rim+ tire mounted set. What do do you recommend I do in short time? ebay it? Size rim, type? Thanks!

The "12" part of the tyre size is the rim diameter, both fronts and rears are 12, so that is what you need. Width is the middle number 8 on the front 10 on rear, this isn't too critical, we regularly put 9.5s onto wheels made for 8" tyres. However "offset" is also important and should match the old rims. This is how much the centre part of the wheel is in from the rim. Swinging arm axle rear wheels usually had a massive offset, IRS rear wheels, a lot less.
