Trying to remove 2003 kodiak headlight bulb. Took off dust cover, rotated bulb counterclockwise, socket is now loose and free. Now it won’t come out because the wires going to the socket that come from behind the atv plastic sides are to tight and I can’t get the socket out to change the bulb. There’s no room to manoeuvre the socket left or right cause it keeps hitting the plastic frame of the headlight holder. Anybody have any tips or tricks to get the socket out.. Many thanks guys for your advice…

 

I don't work on Yams much but would assume there should be enough wire to get the holder out far enough. So, someone must have routed the wire wrongly. Trace it back and see if you can route it to give a bit more length behind the headlamp.
