Help adjusting Kodiak Valves
#11
up2snuf,
You are right on the intake clearance. It is 0.0024 to 0.0039 in. I am going to edit that post so not to create any confusion. Also, to answer your earlier question, I got the manual from the dealer, not online. It was part of the deal I made on the quad. I think they sell them for $55.

The valve adjustment went fine on the Kodiak except for one problem. One of the bolts that hold the recoil starter on was hard to take out and when I was putting it back together, I twisted the bolt off. I guess I should have used some liquid wrench since it was stubborn but I thought I could get it back in there. Any suggestion as to how I can fix this? I almost feel like trying to get warranty to fix it since it was boogered to start with.
