Ok.... a couple weeks ago I rolled my Blaster down this big hill. Nothin was hurt but it wouldnt start. It was flooding like crazy so instead of messing with the float I baught a new carb. Today I installed the carb. It turns over very well and tries to start. I get off and look at it when I see smoke just pouring out of the air box. Please help I dont know what to do!!!

 

I almost gurantee one of your reeds is either cracked or broken right off, take your plastic/carb off and pull the reed cage out of the cylinder, you'll know as soon as you take it out. Good luck!

Sweet, no problem.. I bought an old blaster and it just diddnt run one day, couldnt figure it out, had gas, had spark, had compression, wouldnt run, pulled it around my buddies house for like 30minutes with his big old ford, just dumping the clutch trying to jump it... kicked it probally 2000+ times... then noticed the exhaust coming from the airbox, took the reeds out and cut a piece of plastic to fit the one that was broken, threw it in and it started right up.. Golden... Drove it around the yard a bunch just cuz , got boyesen reeds and was good to go..
