My opinion is they just make a bigger selection of quads, like in and out 4 wheel drive quads, super fast quads and all, they make the most and the best, only reason Honda gets more attention is because they have so called longer life span.

 

I dont think that Yamaha is better than Honda, just different.Yamaha apparently listens to the demands of coustomers a little closer.Look at the lineup:Banshee, Raptor, Blaster, Warrior, Wolverine, and maybe a 660cc Predator? That lineup is hard to beat, especially if you are in the market for a sport quad. Honda makes the 400ex and the 300ex,not much of a selection there.But all BS aside, i think if i were to travel from one end of the earth to another I would be on one of the old school Fourtrax 300s. It may be slower than christmas,but it aint gonna break.Im not saying that my Raptor and Shee are not reliable either so dont anyone give me any of that "ive had my Raptor and Banshee for 40 years and they have never broke anything" line.

i think that yamaha is better now a days because yamaha is keeping the scene alive with the two strokes while honda has lost the war againt these eco-*****...........thanks yamaha

Seriously...I can't say why, but I never liked Honda...and I don't like Yamaha either...only when I decided to get a quad, I wanted something real. I couldn't find any Quadzilla at that moment, so I went with the twin. Would have been a Honda I'd have said "well...I got a Honda".
Very honestly, I don't vare about the brand. I want a quad that fits me and that's reliable (on this point, yamaha and honda are equal...or close).
