I've had a Raptor and wouldn't mind having another. However, if you're not in a hurry, consider putting that insurance check in a good mutual fund while everything is low and then wait to see what Honda comes out with (or Yamaha). Hopefully you will have enough left over to do some nice mods.

 

The dealer convention is in early June. The day after last year's convention is when my dealer showed me the 2001 ATV Brochure with the Raptor in it. I would expect we will know more about the new 4X4 (maybe a better choice for you) and the color schemes right after that.

 

The last thing I need is a 4x4 quad out here in the desert. The Dunes are my forte'. Besides if I wan't to go fourwheelin' I'll take my 1978 Bronco with a 460, 35" mud terrain's, and Detroit lockers on both pumpkins out to play.

 

Who did you hear that from? Dealer or some yahoo ? Just curious. I hate getting bum info. I try to take the info I get from this forum to heart. Thanks.
