I have a '00 blaster and have been reading in here for a while about people modifying their air box's, lids or just removing the lid. I finally took my lid off yesterday and WOW the power increase! I wasn't aware that the lid was restricting the air flow that much. My question is this: Do I have to change my jetting now that I am getting more air into the engine? Other than running a little lean, will it hurt anything if I don't change the jetting?

yes put a 240 jet in it and a set of carbonfiber reeds then get rid of the oil injection and mix your gas

I never ever ran my Blaster with the oil injection system on. I am really against it. I've ran pemix from day one. I've already got a K&N filter with an outerwear. I will change to a 240 jet soon and see what happens.
