The tie rod ends seem to be weak on the Raptors. As I was taken a turn in a race, the bike just kept going straight. The left outer tie rod end broke. Many theories exist on how it got weakened but the fact is that it broke.

I just bought the Tie Rod kit from Ricky Stator after reading everywhere how much stronger they are that the stock. I hope they are worth teh $200.

 

Can you post how you liked them, how hard to install? These are the ones modeled after the Honda's right?

 

Just got'em for my Warrior...they look indestructable and were easy to install. Got tired of breaking the stock ones. I'm gonna get some for the Raptor when I decide what A-Arms to go with. To me, the 200 bones were worth it.

 

I just got them in the mail. Wow, they look and feel solid, unlike the mickey mouse stock ones. I can't believe that Yamaha did not bother to improve the stock ones. Worst yet, I paid so much for the Raptor, the least they should have done paid for the improved Ricky Stators.

 

Yeah yamaha tie-rod ennd bite. They are to small I brek them all the time cause i got offset wheels. I am gonna get icky stators new one's.
