Blaster Rebuild
#1
Does the Blaster's engine need to be rebuilt every year? Does the clutch burn out easily? That's what my friend says. He says I shouldn't buy it. But get this he says, "can i ride it when you get it." I think he doesn't want me to get it because I'll beat him in a drag.

First off, NO. The Blaster does not need a rebuild every year. (although it may be a good idea) It is only like 100 bucks to freshen up the top end, with OUT punching it out anything past stock. Second, no again. The clutch does NOT burn out easy unless you dump it, ride it(the clutch, etc. The blaster is a good machine if you take care of it. The only problems I have had is the one I have right now, the inner most baffle in my pipe has broke loose and is robbing me of HP by sitting around in my expansion chamber. But, I will get a new aftermarke t exhaust which will cure that problem. Some things you need to know...1. the brakes suck, they need constant mantinence. but if you do not ride through alot of sandy mud then there OK.
2. The tires suck. The first mod that u should look into for a blaster is tires on Rims all the way around.
3.Exhaust-the stock pipe suck goat ****. Period, look at exhausts from trinity, CT, and PowerPros.
4.Fun-if you DONT want to have fun, or if you are afraid of having a good time, then the Blaster is not for you.
Good luck, and safe riding.
