I posted something like this under a different thread about the Raptor. Only the part about searching for neutral after stopped. I changed the oil and checked the free play of the clutch before the last time riding and still had a hard time finding neutral. This doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes you can find neutral real easy. We have been playing around with it and noticed it might be a half click up or a slight click up or sometimes a full click to second and a slight click down. I'm not really sure. Haven't had many problems with missing second gear. If it happens to me it is because I had the wrong angle on it under the shift lever when trying to pull it up or I didn't push it up far enough to click it in.

On warriors as well as raptors they have a linkage run shifter. after they break in they have to be adjusted or miss shifts will happen. Also check for proper clutch free play(1/8in). I can bet after you adjust your shifter down a hair it will shift great.
