I want to know how they run..
Fast of the line?
Wheeles?
How are they when you pin the gas when your already moving? does it pull hard all they way up?
how are those cheap looking tires? do they work well?
And of course "whats the top end?" is it easy to reach or is it a slow climb?

It's too narrow. It won't powerslide. The rear tires are too small.
The rest of it is a total class act. New Spidertraks and Douglas wheels for the rear and spacers for the front should fix it like a wider axle fixed our Raptor. I can't wait to ride the new WIDE TRACK GRIZZLY!! I'll let you know.

What made you want Spider Tracs? Do you have any experience with them? Some kook on here tried to tell me they suck a year ago, but I always thought they were a kick *** tire.

i was at my dealer yesterday and they had a new prairie and a new grizz. for test driving. i test drove the praire first then immediatly hopped on the grizz and drove it the same distance. i was really suprised how the grizz. ran. i think it pulled harder and faster than the praire. my friend felt the same way and he hates yamahas. when you pin the gas on the grizz. the rear squats a little and the front end picks up a little. this didnt bother me but there were a few very small guys that couldnt go 125lbs that said that when it did that it took away the handling. other than that i thought that the prairies handlebar height was a little awkward. (too high) that and the praires vtwin, which was awesome sounding and smooth, was a little too quiet. i would love to hear it with an aftermarket exhuast.

Mudstud,
I have 200 miles on mine... I really like it for the most part. It really goes, one thing I have noticed, is the throttle response, it is instatanious, you are going 40, and pinch it, it throws you back. I am really impressed with the power.. I haven't ridin a praire yet, though. It goes pretty good off the line, I can keep up with a RM 125 for a bit off the line, but once he gets in the powerband, he takes it away, slowly, but surely. About the sputtering, It happened to me once in low, at a mud run, but yet, not in water deep enough to fill up the compartment under the seat. More testing needs to be done on this.. I have yet to try some dielectric grease in the spark plug boot ethier. But... Thats about it.. Lemme know if you have more questions.

even though my subscriptions to my mags are expiring (as I enter college), I will buy the SHOOTOUT between the griz 660, prairie 650, and rubicon in a flash. I have never wanted to see a shootout so badly!

Quadman,
Tell me about this sputtering? Does it just run out of power? Why only in low?

Mud,
I dunno, Its hard to explain. Its like it just dies. It NEVER did it in the deep water though, only at the mudrun, Its like its jetted lean maybe, Mine doesn't like to Idle real good with no choke. I bought some dieclectric grease, and gonna add some for good measure. I did get stuck, and have to go in reverse, but with the Rev limiter, it was hard to tell what was going on... I will have it out more this weekend, and let you all know. Have a good one.
