Got my Grizzly sat. and it is awsome.
To start off it will pop wheelies and it will powerside, but it won't do donuts very good with the stock tires. The power is unreal you goose it and it just wants to take off. It would pull wheelies at the stock suspension settings but I tightened the rear shocks and it is a lot easier now.

I raced a 00' scrambler 500 took it off the line and just kept on going. The fastest it would go was 67mph and it would get there in a hurry. It has a dual header like a Raptor also. The steering is so easy you forget it is a big 4x4 utility bike. It jumps preety good too, but in the air it makes a clicking sound. I can't tell if it is from when the a-arms drop down all the way and the cv-joints get in a bind or is it the trans. down shifting. Because if you get going fast and slam on the breaks it makes the same sound as the trans. donw shifts.

I haven't had it that long but I'm really impressed. And everyone thats road it just can't believe how fast it is. And that 4x4 system works like a charm. Also the dash glows like an Indiglo watch.

The thing is awsome. Be glad to answer any questions.

Team,
I have had mine for a few weeks. I got a couple questions.. First off, how do you stiffen up the shocks? Is it hard? Second off, how fast does it get to 67? Mine gets up to about 60 and slows down kinda, I think the jetting might be FUBAR, it idles rough with no choke, how does yours Idle? HOw does it ride, since you stiffened the shocks? Thanks!

I used a pair of channel locks to turn the adjusters. On the rear you have to take the tires off, I turned mine all the way up so it would be easier to pop wheelies and it is not rough at all. With the suspension tightened all the way in the rear it still rides smoother than my wolverine. The adjusters are the silver things under the springs.

Mine idles smooth, not rough at all, but it does slow down its' accleration over 60 but not much at all. Sounds like you may need to get your valves adjusted (they say to check the adjustment after 20 hours) or maybe your carb. needs adjusting. Hope this helps.

Now we have 2 Grizzly's one green and the other camo. The green one has 27" GBC Gators, and the other has 27" vampires. The bigger tires really didn't change the preformance at all. But it did change the speedo. about 2mph. They will go anywhere with these bigger tires, and not only that they will get there in a hurry.

Hey Team,

I was considering the 27" GBC XT Dirt and didn't know if they would work OK on the stock wheel. What wheels are you running and if they're stock is the tire close to the upper a-arm in front?

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm going to go check one out. Sounds like one hell of a machine.

I'm using the stock wheels but I have 1.5" wheel spacers.

Team,
I tried Stiffening my shocks, No go, How did you compress them, without lifting it off the ground?
Anywho, I did have it on a track the other day, Getting about 1.5 feet of air, not much, but it sure landed nice when I did my part, It was cool. Second question, Should the valves need to be adjusted on a new machine? I can get about 63 out of her, on hardpack gravel. I go 215lbs, and it doesn't seem right to me... Otherwise she was going good. I can take a 125RM easy. :-) Lot of machine to be throwing around though. We put on a 100 miles today, Fast paced, 40-50mph riding... I am tired! Lots of fun though...
Another question, Where did you get the wheel spacers? Think they would help at all with the stock tires? It slides alright, Just need a little more... Any thoughts?
Another question. ;-) What can I do to make this thing have more torque, Maybe I am just getting used to it, But I think it needs some more.. :-) Anything I can do without modifying exhaust? Air Filter, Jets, any ideas? Thanks!

Needs torque????? I found that a slow speed hill climb needs some more throttle, but I think its because I was in hi range, and I'm not used to an automatic. I don't see where it would need more torque, but I guess you really can't have too much though. This thing seems to have tons of power. I can't wait to get it broken in, cause I'm really wanting to be able to take it wide open. I've hit 57 so far, and I had quite a bit of throttle left. Of course, who knows how accurate the speedometer is. Either way, this sob will flat out run.

Andy,
Maybe its just me. This is my first fourwheeler, I had a dirtbike before. I am thinking I just have the need for speed. Thinking about a 250R for trail riding, Something light and fast. :-)
