it has been goin on for a while and im gettin angered(haha) the run off hose(or overflow) that dumps gas outta the bowl if the float sticks or it floods... well it gets to where it dumps gas like every day or two i take it apart, clean it out some, and put it back together and it works just fine for a while. well now it has got to wear if i just gas it low in 2nd instead of a lil jerk back like normal it just kinda bogs and dumps a lil gas. i also cuts out at high rpm's i dont ride in ride in reeal b ad conditions or nothing to dirty it up that often i cant figure out why it does it im thinking about just rebuildng it and hoping that will take care of it will it? what can i try? thanks a lot for the help

It kind of sounds like your float could be going bad. If it is the kind made of the black material they can (over time) absorb gas and not float correctly. If it is a plastic float it is possible it has a pin hole or crack in it. Otherwise you may have a lot of debris in your tank and it needs to be flushed out and cleaned and maybe put in an in-line filter. That, along with a thorough carb cleaning should take care of the problem.

To me it sounds like a float problem. All these cleanings you've done to the float bowl may have bent the tab that holds the float level. Good point in the reply before mine. Take the float bowl down and see if there is fuel inside the float. You can tell by shaking the float to see if fuel is inside it. if there is fuel inside the float replace the float.
As far as any carb goes the float should be level. That is a good starting point without actually looking it up in the book. What you need to do is take the carb off the quad, take the float bowl off the carb and flip the carb upside down. If the float doesn't sit level you need to bend the tab that touches the float needle to make the float sit level while the carb is upside down. While you're at it make sure the float needle has no junk stuck to it or that the rubber piece at the end of the needle has a ring worn around it. If there is a ring worn on the rubber tip of the needle replace the needle.
At first when you said the quad bogs when you hit the gas I figured the float bowl was starving for fuel but then you said fuel dumps out after the bog that means the float is riding to high and it's drowning the main jet. This means when you flip the carb upside down the float will be hanging below level. Bend the tab to remedy this.
Any further questions just let us know!!!

I agree with the above posts...another thing you can check is that the little bent piece of wire is attached to the valve. (excuse the terminology..but If you have had it apart you know what I mean).

If your float is working properly...but the spring is not...It could mean constant flooding. If the spring is overly bent...it could keep the valve open...constantly flooding your carb.

I am at work....I could check the manual for the right terminology later. My guess is that more than likely...it is not the float...but rather the valve above it either sticking or not sealing (there is a little Oring on the valve. or at least should be)
It is easy to damage this part of the carb when putting the float bowl back on.

Check you needle valve tip. If it's black rubber, it can get deformed from MTBE gas.
