Warrior Won't Start?>?
#1
I went out to ride my 99 Warrior today. I went to start it up and it would hardly turn the starter over. So dad and I hooked up the mini battery charger for a few hours. Went to start it agian and nothening exept for a clicking noise coming from the rear of my 4-wheeler on the left side( its a round electrical thing that I can't spell). What else should I do?? OR what could it be??

Sounds like the starter or the solenoid are toast. Another thing it could be are the starter bearings - check this by putting the bike in neutral and rolling it forward. If it's hard to roll, it's the bearings (the case is weak where they're located, and the shaft can get tweaked in the cases).
If the bike rolls easily, it's probably going to need a starter. Although you might want to check for bad grounds or worn wires before you purchase this $$$ item.
In most cases tho, when the thing makes that click sound, and nothing else happens, it's the starter.

Before spending any money charge the battery again and see how many volts you have in the battery with a voltmeter. A 12 volt battery when fully charged should have almost 14 volts in it. If it doesn't it could be the battery. If a bearing in the starter goes it shouldn't happen from one start to the next. It will be hard starting to the point it won't start, yet a battery can go at any time. If your battery is no good hopefully it's not because the stator isn't charging the battery.

It is posible that the starter siliniod shorted out. the day, or week before, were you riding in any water at all? if so get a new starter siliniod. The starter should be fine becuase my 13 year old starter worked, but not for long. It will not be the starter clutch either. It just dis-engages the starter from the flyweel once the motor starts to spin faster than the starter will.
-this is one reason i like haveing the pull start on my 87 warrior-
