How many disks should I put in my White Bros. Pro Meg silencer?
#1
I have a 2001 Warrior. The engine is stock right now. I have a box full of mods to make as soon as the Pro Meg is delivered.(backorder)
Changes to be done all at the same time:
1)Put K&N air filter on.
2)Outerwears for air filter.
3)Drill 6 1" holes in airbox lid.
4)Put in the 6 1" air filters.
5)Cover airbox lid with a sheet of water repellent Outerwears.
6)K&N jet kit for carb.
7)White Bros. Pro Meg silencer.
The silencer comes with 12 disks. I ordered 12 more disks with the silencer as well as the longer screws to install up to 24 disks. My question is how many disks should I have in the silencer to start with? Another questions is what jet out of the jet kit should I start with? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

I have a K&N filter, 9 3/4 inch holes in my air box lid, bored .02 over, and the pro meg silencer. I ran it with the 12 disks but it didn't have the top end i need for where i ride. I put the 12 more on and it has a bit more top end. I also took the spark arrestor out for more power. You really shouldn't have to rejet it becuz that is what the paper you get with it says. Mine is jetted at 150 becuz of the filter and bore. Run it with the 12 disks and see how you like it. It is really all up to how you ride. I ride real hard and fast and there are alot of open fields and strip mine roads that i ride on so i like to have a lot of top end speed and power. Run it with the 12 and go from there.

If you are running the E-series with 24 plates and no arrestor, that is the same as running with no plates and is aking no difference. The point of the arrestor plate is to allow the air to flow through the sides of the plates instead of straight out the back. If you do alot of woods riding, keep the arrestor on and run between 12 and 15 plates and see what you like, then go up more if you need more. But remember, for every plate you go up, you go up in the top end but lose some bottom end. If you want a torquey bottom end, go with less disks. If you and a fast top end, go with more.
