660 oil leak
#1
Here's one for the reliability wars. This will also give anyone something to talk about as well. Do I care? No. I'm not brand loyal.
I've had my 660 Grizzly 5 days now, and after 98 miles, there is an oil leak of somekind. Noticed oil around the skid and floorboard right around the bottom of the pull start thing. Filler and drain are both tight. I don't know where its coming from. None the less, it is going to the dealership (and not the one I bought it from either) this week to have somebody look at this and do something about this crap.
On a lighter note, I never had anything other than a driveshaft bearing go out on my Arctic Cat.

I have a Kawasaki 650 prairie and it also has an oil leak right after i bought it. I could never see where it was leaking at and was all ways on the skid plate towards the rear of the four wheeler so it has been at the dealer getting fixed the bike only had 54 miles on it. Only had it for 5 days before I had to take it back to the dealer who has had it for 2 weeks now kinda making me mad now without a four wheeler.

I might have it fixed. I took it to the dealer and they took the cover off the pull start and I think it was leaking around the cap where you check the timing. The cap wasn't very tight, but it wasn't cracked or anything. They tightened it up good and cleaned off all the oil. Hopefully that did the trick. I'll have to see if I notice anymore oil from now on.
They did give me hell because I didn't buy it from them. A salesman came through and asked what I paid for it. I tolk him $6400 out the door, and he kind of scratched his head. They sell them for MSRP + setup. While I was there, I saw a Grizzly 600 that said $6799 + setup. Hell, the place I got my 660 had them for $5390. Hmmm....???
