Why is my Warrior hesitating?
#1
The Warrior runs fine. Spark plug color looks good. When I ease the throttle on there is no problem but when the quad is idling and I punch the throttle it hesitates before it takes off. What could this be?

Check the spark plug gap. Also i could be a bad plug. I almost bought a new CDI and Coil due to a bad plug w/ little to no gap and it sounds like the same thing that happend to me just on a smaller scale. Also mak sure your air filter is clean.

A stock warrior doesn't have "great" acceleration as it is. If you hit the throttle too hard too quick it will naturally bog a little. Open the engine up a little with an aftermarket pipe and filter (jetted properly) and your acceleration will be improved.

Yes! Bend the metal arm that has the little roller on it,till the plastic arm touches the plunger. It`s under the black cover on the left side of the carb. Also remove the rubber boot from the back of the carb and ck the squirt nozzle,to see if it`sprays fuel in the center of the carb.

NO. bending is not smart. The accelerator pump only kicks in at about 3/4 throttle. Also, check the air screw.
