Kodiak Clutch Kit
#1
I'm considering putting on clutch kit for my 01 kodiak. Does anyone have any reasons why it's its not worth the time or money? Also I have just racked 20 hours and I need to adjust the valves, they are starting to tap. Will I void the warranty if I adjust them myself?

I would call atleast 3 dealers to see what they say about adjusting the valves yourself. Personally I dont think it should. I mean, how would they know if you adjusted them or not as long as it was dont properly.
I have heard nothing but good reports on the clutch kit for the Kodiak. I know 3 guys who have it and can tell a big difference in deep mud using high range. If my Kodiak holds up well this summer "water pump" I might invest in a clutch kit for my Kodiak. But as of right now Im not putting anymore money into it because I might trade it for a 660 Grizzly in the next year or two. Plus, you never know what Honda will come out with. "I look for somethink BIG from them" Soon!

I called the dealer I bought it from and they told me that as long I didn't do it wrong where it made something mess up it was ok. I went ahead and adjusted them and it made the tapping stop. Took about 3 hours from start to finish but I was taking my time.
