I have a set of Alpinestars M-4's. I would highly recommend them. They hold up real well. I've seen the buckles on other brand boots break and I've had no problem with mine.

They fit alot like a tennis shoe. The heal portion however is a little big and tends to slip around. The top buckle has a velcro strap and a cheesy clasp which is poor for mud rides. The sole works better than it looks, however durability has been a problem. Look for Alpine Star to improve on this design, it is going to be the new face of boots in due time.

I have a pair and my only complaint is also that the top buckle could be a little better. If you get mud inside it, it won't latch right, but all you have to do is clean it out. They are very comfortable and require minimal break-in time. In my opinion they are a great boot. Chapparal has them about $225, that's about the cheapest around. Get on their site and order a pair!!
