New Banshee Top Speed Run
#11
free1steven, thanks for the comments on the site. Yep, St. Anthony is great too bad it's so far. Sorry to hear about your bad luck there. Give us a report on your Banshee when you get it back.
I left the fenders on for the speed runs. The fenders are stock, not cut.
The PD sprockets seem OK. They are as thick as the stock sprockets. I only have about 22 miles on them from my ride yesterday so it's too early to tell. The rear sprocket is black which looks good, BTW. I figure, for the price you can't really go wrong; $7 for front and $14 for rear; not bad.

My reason for asking is the Banshee and Blaster use the same countershaft and my buddy just picked one up and I'm trying to help him get it dialed in.Tell me about it! that is very cheap, my buddy just payed 40$ for a sidewinder 14 tooth! Thanks for your help.

They say you lose 4% horsepower for every 1000 feet in elevation. So in theory at 7000 feet you lose 28% of your horsepower. I believe you went that fast. But what surprizes me is with this theory one would think you would go faster.
