? for warrior owners
#4
When I had my Warrior I raced my friend's 400EX - both bikes were totally stock, and I lost repeatedly. After I got my 400 (tee hee!) I raced a friend with a piped/jetted Warrior, and yeah, there wasn't such a huge gap between us when I won. If both riders have equal skill, the 400 is definately faster.

I race my Warrior with many mods: .040 Wiseco Piston, 38mm Mikuni Carb, WB Cam, K&N Filter, no lid, Titanuim Valve Springs. I race stock and modded 400ex's and beat most for the holeshot. I know that is alot rider but I havent found anyone in my area witha 400ex with comparable riding skills to do a fair drag.

I have a warrior bored.02 over, k$n, wb e-series pipe with 36 disks, holes in my air box lid and i have raced my cousin who has a 400ex. we are both the same size and wieght and we both have very close to the same riding skills, so it was an evenly matched race. You won't believe me but i won. he wasn't that far behind but he was still looking at my rear fenders and the back of my shirt. we race a few times with same outcome. we traded quads and i was looking at my own fenders on his 400ex.
