I bought a pair of wheel spacers for my Banshee. The problem is that I donīt know how to take out the stock stud from the hubs.
Do I have to hit them with a hammer or just unscrew them.
If I have to unscrew them from the hubs, How do I do this ??
Thanks !!!

There splined and press fit, just like a car. Hopefully you have an extra nut that will fit that you don't mind messing up. Put the nut on the end of the stud. Screw it on almost flush with the end of the stud (nut being a little higher off the stud) and hammer it out. Just be careful. Later

If you mess up the nut, you can always buy replacements from Ronnies for $.62 Just in Case

Hey, so I too just got a set of easy-fit wheelspacers for the front of my 400EX...

Have you guys ever tried them on the rear tires? I heard somewhere that the rear wheel spacers can fail due to the load put on them by the driving rear tires....true? or no?

$80 for a set of rear spacers is a bit easier to swallow than $350 for a +2" lone-star axle...

Just curious...when replacing the studs, do you put back new longer studs or is it a bolt that you have to hold on both sides?

No, it's just a press fit splined stud. Just like a stud for a car if you've ever seen one. Later

I got it !!! I took the stock studs out of the hubs !!!
I used a tube wrench, put it in the inner side of the hub. Screw a bolt on the stud, I head it to the floor, and then hit the Tube with a hammer.
I then put the new longer studs that came with the kit.

Thanks you all !!

Now this thing is really w i d e ! ! ! !

Joey,
Do you know where I could get those longer studs? If anyone sells them?
