Its a good sport bike. Not much for racing, but then again how many folks actually hit the track anyway. The 4-stroke engine makes it dependable, while the engine still pulls strong and fast. Excellent steering for trail riding, and a good suspension. Its a great bike for those who aren't going to need a rock hopping 4x4, but might still go in the woods now and then. A rear rack can be added for carrying a few items as well. It doesn't fit my needs or wants, but I loved every chance I got to ride the one my friend used to have. We could be on a paved road and my 300 honda would be pegged. He could pull up beside me in 4rth, then just hammer the throttle at will and leave me sitting. I drove a Sportsman 400 last night, and from what I could derive from its power compared to the power of a 2wd polaris sport with the same engine, there is no way the sport could outrun the Warrior. Modifications would change that, but most folks just leave em stock. The warrior is awesome for a regular trail ride. You can get off and push it over the logs and rocks, and then roast your buddies on their 4wds on the open road. The reverse gives it an advantage over a lot of other bikes for trail purposes.

I just bought a 2000 Warrior about three weeks ago. I have already taken it over 150 miles. It is the best trail riding machine I have ever riden. I'm taking it to a race track tomorrow to see how I can do against the other bikes. I have very good confidence in my Warrior. I have not added any mods yet but I have been clocked at over 60 miles an hour.
