I put a set of EBC pads on at the end of May and their gone now. I ride in sand alot and use the rear brake about 50% of the time. I don't use the parking brake because of the drag it has when adjusted tight enough to hold the quad still. Is this to fast to go through pads?

I got 2 months out of stock pads on the Kodiak. I just put on a set of EBC severe duty pads. I hope they hold out longer than the stockers, can't be any worse. Also the EBC pads are $3 cheaper than the stockers.

I forgot to mention something in my previous post. My stock pads only lasted 2 months and I RARELY use my rear breaks. 90% of the time I use my engine break to slow down and stop. Imagine how long they'd last if I used them all the time!! Maybe 3 weeks?

If you go through alot of sand then that's probably right. Sand will do wonders on brake pads :-(.
