Big Decision Time I Don't Know
#1
Dear All,
I own a '94 Warrior. I didn't think I would get into mx as much as I did. I tried racing it once and it bottom out and my face went into the handle bars. I tightend the shocks so it works better now. Also, from jumping or something the pegs are bending severley, I sometimes mis shift or don't shift because the shifter cluth is bent. I am wondering any comments that can be made or should I seek at different ATV.
Thank You

Poor Boy, If you plan to continue to race mx, you certainly need a different machine than a 94 Warrior. As a 97 Warrior rider, I must tell you that you have the wrong ride; it isn't designed for that activity, certainly not without suspension upgrades. Without knowing your weight, I imagine if you're continually bottoming out your suspension, it's causing the frame and other components to absorb the remainder of the impact & causing your foot pegs to bend. I ride desert and have taken some major hits & drop offs, & bending the pegs is a new one on me. Of course, I weigh only about 160 lbs & am not running stock suspension either.
I suppose your machine could be adapted to mx use, at least in a very casual way, but it wouldn't be cost effective..you could easily invest more than what you paid for the bike & still have a mediocre ride. You might better think about a 400Ex ( what am I saying(:-) )? & spending $1000 for up-grades on that if a new bike is an option.
