When I start my Warrior I hear a loud clicking noise coming from the left case cover. I removed the starter and had it inspected and install new brushes. It looked fine. I donot hear the noise while the bike is running. But i do hear it when i shut it off. Is this normal? I just bought the bike. And this is my first Warrior.

Is this noise a clicking or a louder more clunking sound. If it is the latter than the most likely cause is the 1 way starter clutch bearing. This radical bearing is bolted on to the magneto rotor with six allen key bolts. To pull the rotor off you need a special puller. The bearing is expensive($ 150.00 cdn), and the puller is approx(50.00 cdn) I don't know where you live but if it is in the USA then you most likely find a better deal. Get a Clymer manual, this job is very easy. If you have any questions email me
