4 stroke 2x4 just like he said. Came in blue, yellow, and red. I had an 86 model, and it was as good as any other utility at the time. Front mechanical drum brakes are garbage. Bike is tough though. My grandpa has his 87 still and it looks like hell. Rusted up racks that are bent all over. Hole in the exhaust and leaking oil from the head, but it still runs. It would turn on a dime, that was its best attribute I think. Much tighter than the 250 fourtrax honda's of the time. The suspension was adequate for the 80's, but is sub par to anything made now. It could be a good quad depending on its condition. After around 88, they moved to a 250 I think. If you have ever seen any old yamaha utility quads from the early 90's, it looks similar to them. Dual headlights, wide racks front and rear. Hi/lo/reverse lever was on the left side of the engine case. Pull start is a manual wound cord that you have to remove a cover with an allen wrench, and then manually wind the pull rope around. I never used this the entire time I owned the quad. This one will go anywhere any other 2wd quad will.
