All right, I own both of the machines in question and have raced them a half dozen different ways.
The blaster may FEEL faster, but will not take the warrior except in cases of rider error.

It is a very close race(quadlength) to 4th gear, then warrior pulls away.
I think some may try to overrev the warrior. It gets there quicker when short shifted.

stock vs stock the warrior will win, but when you beif them up the blaster will win because it's a two-stroke. I had a 96 blaster with fmf pipe and silencer boysen reeds, reed spacer, K&n filter and 14 tooth sprocket and bandit tires i could waste my friends 98 warrior and it has a supertrapp pipe but other than that it's stock. I think just for playong around the warrior is better but for all out racing i like the blaster

The blaster puts out about 17 stock horsepower, i think thats at the rear wheel. A decent, light-wheight rider on a blaster will take the warrior in a shorter drag, but in the long run, a warrior will win.

I still stand....having owned both at the same time. OK...The blaster had only a pipe and warrior was still stock. But the blaster did win in most instances. I've been playing this game for years now...I would race a warrior any day with a blaster.

It's not worth an arguing match...neither machine was really designed for racing anyway. Unless you want to spend tons of money and still end up with a mediocre race machine.
