01 Grizzly 600

Hey mrwil, you made a good choice. I've had my '01 for a little over a year and have logged about 700 miles with zero problems. I can't believe how well this bike works.....and works hard. I was thinking of trading for a new 660 but am having trouble finding any reason why I would get rid of my 600 as it runs super. The only problem I've had, and so have many Grizzly/Kodiac owners, is running through some deep water at speed. The motor will lose power and bog a little. The cure is to get some dielectric greese and put it in the sparkplug boot. Problem solved. Other than the regular maintenance stuff like brakes and oil changes, I can't think of any problems inherent to this machine. It's a little rough, vibrates a little and is a little louder than most but man do I love my Grizzly 600 and I'm sure you will too! Good luck!

You couldn't of picke a tougher bike, I have 3600Km's on mine and not a problem, just change my front breaks, that it. Went camping on the weekend and had gear for 4 people on the racks and I had 2 people riding at very slow speeds up in the mountains to the camp site and oh ya I was in high gear, its a beast with lots of power and has the reliability.
I've had it float with 1 time having a problem that was my fault, so what let the water drain out and away I went. This machine is a tank and for over heating that's bull especially on the 99 and up's. I also thought of the new 2002 but I am the same, this thing is so tough and keeps taking a beating its just too much to get rid of. I've had it in MUD and it performs great, rocks and it climbs and high speed fire roads and it handles everything. I have a friend with 8000km's on a 98 and he's still on the same belt, he pounds it all the time, the bike looks like it 10 years old, and it keeps going.
You won't regret it.
