Well I ordered a BG exhaust, dyno jet kit and K and N filter today for my raptor.

Do I need to get a pro flow kit also, or will it be fine with the K and N only. Also, I am at 6000 ft and wonder if anyone else is close to that altitude could give me an idea on the jetting to use. I know that at this altitude it seems to have a flat spot on top. And when I went down to about 3000 ft it ran much much better. My bike is all stock at the moment. I think the jetting is off from the factory.

Any tips on install or setup would be appreciated.

The Dynojet kit will address the flat spot. It comes with instructions for 0-3k ft, 3k-6k ft, and 6k and above. If you already purchased a K&N for the stock airbox, run with that. Make sure it has an Outerwear on it though, for maximum protection. The stock type K&N filter will not work with the Pro-Design adapter, so you would have to buy a new filter along with the adapter. I just put on a Pro Design/K&N/Dynojet about three weeks ago, and it made a definite improvement. Snappier response and pulls harder, even with the stock pipe. The instructions that come with the Dynojet kit are pretty explainatory. Be sure to adjust the idle mixture screw if you haven't already, it comes from the factory too lean (that's not in the instructions anywhere).

If the k & N uses the stock sealing system I would send it pack and get the Pro-Design kit. It seals a lot better and will give you a better sense of security.
