Polaris Sportsman or Yamaha Kodiak?
#5
Think of the Yamaha as a nimble, fun-to-ride, tight trail blaster. The Polaris will easily out-motor it and be more comfortable on wider, more open trails. Personally, I ride narrow rocky stuff and need a nimble, easy-steering machine, so I like the Kodiak better for my purposes. I have ridden both.

Comfort of ride clearly goes to the Sportsman.Fun?It depends on YOUR perception of fun.For casual trail rides, serious mud, serious snow plowing, and work, than the Sportsman wins again. For tracking and winding thru tight trails,my choice goes to the Kodiak. It will handle the winding trails much better than the big ole Sportsman.------BILL
