Has anyone done this? I've heard that it does a lot for a motorcycle and that's the only thing I've heard and read about it being done on. I know they are much louder after, but that isn't a concern with me.

Tranz455am,
Perhaps the reason you haven't received any replies is the same one as mine..I have no clue what is meant by "un-corking" a Yamaha. In my years of riding Yamaha bikes & quads, I've never heard the term used. Maybe you could edit your post to make it clearer to those of us less informed.

I am assuming that by "uncorking" you are talking about hollowing the baffles on the exhaust? You did mention that noise was not a problem.

This will Un-restrict the exhaust a bit...Maybe yeilding a bit more top end power. Most of the restriction on a stock exhaust system is caused by the "Bend" or design of the head pipe... A warrior has a very thin header. Not much you can do with that. You will probably have to mess with the jetting to see any improvement at all ( assuming that everything is stock)

If you can varify that what I mention is what you mean by "uncorking" ...we can talk about other things you can do to get a bit more power or speed depending on how you want to ride... (air box lid, sprocket changes, jetting, air filter, etc)
Hope this helps! good luck
