How much travle does the shocks have? take that number tthen add 28"s and see if their is space between that and the under part of the fender.
Then from the middle of the hub see how far it is to the back of the Fender twards the engine. I'm not totally shure if this method would work. Could any one tell me if it does?

hey, where do you live that you would need mud tires.....i know theres lots of swamps around here but there hard to get to.....check out fourstoketech.com.....they have a grizzly with a 720cc big bore kit and run 28 mudzillas......my friend has 26x12x12 vampires on his 02 big bear....it goes pretty good....also check out highlifter.com....you'd get better info there

he loves them.....there pretty heavy but your grizzly shouldn't have any problem turning them......get some aluminum wheels to it makes it much easier on the machine and it will spin them faster.....check out highlifter for tire specs like weight and crap like that....where do you ride in upstate NY....
