I saw one thing in BigBubba's post that caught my eye. The part about the seat being the same. They aren't the Suzuki is T-shaped and the Raptor isn't. I think Suzuki tried to take the best of each quad and put it into one. for example the Raptor looks, 400EX suspension (to bad its not DS650 suspension) and so on.

HAHA! Suzuki has been copying designs before quads even came out! Like all the Suzuki dirtbikes ever made. Take a look at older Suzuki bikes they all look just like Yamaha or Honda it's hilarious!

You know what all, i hope the z400 blow's away the raptor, even though i am a yamaha fan. But everybody thinks the raptor thinks its big and bad... Like the c-dale... Well talk to ya all lata

LOL, a 400 beating a 660 theres no chance! The only quad that has a chance at that is the Cannondale cause of the weight and the hi-tech design but it only wins in topend not in acceleration and a short drag. The Suzuki is not nearly as hi-tech as the Cannondale, it will prolly be just a little faster then the 400ex just cause of the DHOC. It won't have a chance against the Raptor!

Nah, I won't feel sorry if the 400EX is actually a little faster then the Z400, not at all! But it won't beat a Raptor thats for sure. A Cannondale just barly beats it in top speed but that can be changed with gearing, but think about it the Cannondale is actually 430cc, fuel injection, all aluminum frame, and a built engine straight from the factory. I know that the Suzuki bike will not even come close to those specs. cause I just read about it. It will have to be pretty hi-tech to beat a Raptor and it doesn't even compare to the Cannondale. They are just makin a bike to challange the 400ex and I'm sure it alot of 400ex owners will get one and it will work well for Suzuki. It wasn't made to compete with the Raptor.

big bbba i wouldn't be running your mouth just yet. i hate to bash the raptor but for what it could be it is slow and weak. i hear the suzuki engine WON'T be tuned down from dirtbike form. it should be puttin out a little less or just as much power as a stock raptor plus its lighter than a 400ex! if this new suzuki has the handling and the reliablility i think yamaha will need to redesign the raptor to keep up. of course i could be wrong and in that case a raptor will stomp all over the 400Z. but all i know for sure right now is that a raptor ISN'T powerful when compared to what it could be. the streetbike that the raptor engine is derived from makes 65 (?) horses stock. a modded raptor will probably beat a 400z in a drag but stock for stock the Z will probably beat a raptor as long as suzuki doesn't detune the engine too much. we'll just have to wait until it comes out to be sure tho.
